DUDE CHEM is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, deploy and maintain our web application using React, Python, FastAPI and AI-assisted tooling. You will collaborate across teams, contribute to architecture decisions and help ship high-quality features.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong React and API skills, AWS/Docker experience, and excellent English communication in a distributed team.

Your Mission

• You will collaborate on the design, development, deployment and maintenance of our web application, utilising modern technologies while adhering to industry best practices
• You will work autonomously and contribute to architectural decisions alongside your team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build impactful solutions for the climate sector
• Improve development workflow and contribute to building an efficient, high-performance engineering culture
• Leverage AI coding tools as a core part of your development workflow to ship faster and maintain high code quality

Your Talent

• You have at least 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in React, Python, FastAPI, React, Redux Toolkit, and TanStack Router
• Comfort using AI coding tools to accelerate development
• Experience building AI-powered features
• Experience in developing complex forms using react-hook-form and zod while ensuring a responsive and frictionless user journey
• Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and modern UI development practices
• You can evaluate what’s hype versus what’s real business value
• You have a good understanding of Docker, AWS and cloud native architecture
• You have experience debugging and resolving production issues
• You have led large complex projects from beginning to end
• You have excellent communication skills in English, and experience with distributed teams is a plus
