Jobtailor in Düsseldorf seeks an experienced property underwriter to independently manage and underwrite complex commercial and industrial risks. You will assess, price and control risks to ensure profitable growth while building and maintaining durable relationships with brokers and clients.

You will analyze exposure, accumulation and natural catastrophe risks, contribute to underwriting strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory, governance and ESG standards.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in property underwriting for commercial or industrial risks.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, coverage analysis and portfolio management.
• Proven track record in profitably and sustainably managing insurance portfolios.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Analytical, data-driven approach to underwriting decisions.
• Business-fluent German and English (required).
