Responsibilities

• Management of projects related to seakeeping, maneuvering
• Overall project lead of test campaigns for clients and research projects
• Effective steering of cross‑functional project teams
• Planning, coordination and procuring of resources
• Monitoring of progress and budget, risk analysis
• Driving of internal developments
• Communication with stakeholders (clients, external parties, Management)
• Scientific and technical responsibility for the overall project goals
• Reporting and presentation of results
• Consulting services for customers
• Acquisition and preparation of quotations
• Representation of HSVA in working groups, committees as well as on symposia, conferences and exhibitions

Requirements

• Proven track record as overall manager of technical projects in a relevant industrial field
• At least second level university degree (MSc, PhD), preferably with knowledge of seakeeping, manoeuvring phenomena, measuring techniques, fluid mechanics, naval architecture, marine engineering or comparable fields
