Title: Senior Project Manager
Reporting to: Head of Projects

As a Senior Project Manager within Turner and Townsend's Principal Delivery team, you will play a key role in delivering projects end‑to‑end, moving beyond traditional consultancy into true project ownership. You will be part of an integrated delivery team responsible for managing the full lifecycle of projects—from design and procurement through to construction and handover.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate project opportunities within maintenance contracts or capital expenditure plans
- Liaise with key stakeholders, explain feasibility of their schemes and become a trusted advisor to clients
- Lead on programme setup, delivery strategy and resourcing, ensuring clarity of roles
- Develop project execution plans, risk registers and reporting frameworks
- Effectively manage project site managers, site supervisors and other associates for efficient delivery
- Work with developers, designers and subcontractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s)
- Ensure full scope of works aligns with the desired project business case, budget and profit margins
- Run tenders and conduct full tender analysis of subcontractor returns
- Act as principle contractor under the current CDM process
- Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project
- Design and develop pre‑construction and construction phase delivery programmes
- Embed QHSE practices and processes fully within each project
- Ensure compliance with project management policies and procedures
- Manage day‑to‑day operational aspects of projects, including estimating, business development, quantity surveying, subcontractor management and site supervision teams
- Ensure effective implementation of the project with relevant stakeholders
- Obtain customer acceptance in writing and in line with project plans
- Manage budgets, forecasts, cost control and meet all commercial targets in line with the MSA
- Negotiate payment schedules and applications for payment to benefit the project and business
- Maintain continued governance, programme adherence and quality assurance throughout the project life cycle
- Ensure project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored
- Provide timely reports to the Head of Projects/Business Unit Director in agreed format
- Report commercial risks and opportunities to the Head of Projects/Business Unit Director
- Monitor P&L, cash flow and performance metrics across all active projects
- Conduct internal audits as required
- Feed into lessons learned and continuous improvement processes for future delivery
- Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years proven Project Management experience in an M&E, FM construction or critical environment
- Proven experience running a P&L
- Demonstrable evidence of having managed a team
- Previous experience operating at senior level (Desirable)
