Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead user research, product discovery, and end-to-end UX/UI design across SaaS and AI-enabled applications. You will mentor designers, evolve the design system, and collaborate with engineering in a cross-functional agile environment.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or equivalent in communications or digital design.
• Long-standing professional experience as a Product Designer with an end-to-end portfolio.
• Experience in SaaS and subscription-based business models in enterprise environments.
• Extensive collaboration with engineering and software development teams.
• Strong UX/UI, research, prototyping, and design-system skills.
• Solid knowledge of Agile, data-driven decisions, and stakeholder management.

As a Senior Product Designer (f/m/d), you shape intuitive and impactful digital products by leading user research, product discovery, and end-to-end UX/UI design activities. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform user needs and business objectives into high-quality design solutions while driving consistency through the continuous evolution of the design system. By mentoring fellow designers and championing user-centered design, you contribute to delivering innovative digital experiences across the organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Leadership of product strategy and user‑centric discovery through user research, stakeholder engagement, and translation of insights into design requirements.
• Validation of business assumptions and product concepts through data analysis, user feedback sessions, and evidence‑based design decision‑making.
• Definition of product vision and design strategy aligned with business objectives and user‑centric principles.
• End‑to‑end solution design and prototyping for digital products, including SaaS and AI‑enabled applications, from concept to high‑fidelity implementation assets.
• Collaboration with cross‑functional Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to ensure design quality and successful product delivery.
• Contribution to design system evolution, AI‑driven design innovation, and mentoring of junior designers to foster continuous improvement and design excellence.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Communication Design, Product Design, or a comparable digital design discipline.
• Long‑standing professional experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product leadership from concept to market.
• Proven experience in SaaS and subscription‑based business models within enterprise digital product environments.
• Extensive collaboration experience with engineering and software development teams in cross‑functional enterprise settings.
• Strong expertise in UX/UI design, user research, prototyping, and development and scaling of design systems.
• Solid skills in Agile methodologies, data‑driven decision‑making, stakeholder management, communication, problem‑solving, and project leadership.
