Zusammenfassung

bonify is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape how millions of users understand and improve their financial health across mobile and web. You will own design end-to-end for a defined product area, from framing the right problems through research, prototyping, validation, and delivery.

You'll work with Product, Engineering and Data, contribute to our design system, support less experienced designers, and speak directly with German-speaking users.

Qualifikationen

• Around 6–8 years of experience in product design, ideally with digital consumer products.
• Strong experience designing end-to-end product experiences across mobile and web.
• Advanced skills in Figma, interaction design and prototyping.
• Strong hands-on user research experience—planning and conducting it yourself.
• Ability to simplify complex, data-heavy topics into clear customer experiences.
• Strong product thinking and linking design decisions to outcomes.

We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape how millions of users understand and improve their financial health across mobile and web.

You'll own design end-to-end for a defined product area, from framing the right problems through research, prototyping, validation, and delivery. Our focus is on creating more value beyond the credit score, making complex financial information feel simple, useful, and trustworthy, and embedding AI into both our products and our daily work.

This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role with a strong research mindset. You'll speak directly with German-speaking users, work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data, contribute to our design system, and support less experienced designers through collaboration and feedback.

Your tasks

• Lead product design for a defined area across mobile and web.
• Turn complex financial and credit-related information into experiences that feel simple, useful and trustworthy.
• Plan and conduct customer research, interviews and usability testing, particularly with German-speaking users.
• Translate qualitative research and behavioural data into clear product decisions.
• Create user flows, interaction models, prototypes and polished product experiences in Figma.
• Work closely with Engineering to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable and implemented with high quality.
• Partner with Product and Data to define what success looks like and evaluate the impact of shipped work.
• Contribute to and improve reusable patterns and our design system.
• Use AI practically in your day-to-day work to accelerate research, exploration, prototyping and documentation.
• Help shape AI-powered customer experiences where relevant — while applying strong judgement around trust, clarity and user control.
• Share your expertise, give thoughtful feedback and help raise the quality of design across the team.

Requirements

• You have around 6–8 years of experience in product design, ideally working on digital consumer products.
• Strong experience designing end-to-end product experiences across mobile and web.
• Advanced skills in Figma, interaction design and prototyping.
• Strong hands‑on user research experience — not only consuming research, but planning and conducting it yourself.
• The ability to simplify complex, data‑heavy or sensitive topics into clear customer experiences.
• Strong product thinking and the ability to connect design decisions to customer and business outcomes.
• Experience working closely with Product, Engineering and Data in cross‑functional teams.
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership from ambiguity through delivery.
• German at C1 level or above, including the ability to conduct customer interviews and usability studies.
• Strong practical experience using AI tools in your design workflow — for example in exploration, synthesis, prototyping or documentation.
• A collaborative, kind and constructive working style.
• Experience in fintech, banking, financial services or another regulated/data‑intensive environment is a strong plus.
