The Team – your impact

You are a member of the Crisis Management & Physical Security Coordination team. Together with your colleagues you coordinate and continuously develop the physical security organization to protect our critical infrastructures, facilities, people and operating processes at E.ON.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

• Develop and drive a group‑wide, risk‑based physical security framework, including policies, standards, and methodologies for asset protection
• Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of site security concepts across all business segments and locations
• Conduct and oversee risk and threat assessments (e.g., sabotage, vandalism, espionage, unauthorized access) and define mitigation measures
• Manage and support tendering and procurement of security services, ensuring high quality and cost efficiency
• Advise on security requirements for new sites, buildings, and leases, including technical and personnel security solutions
• Define and standardize on‑site security operations (e.g., reception, gatekeeping) in collaboration with Corporate Real Estate Management
• Plan and support executive and high‑profile event security, including coordination of protection measures
• Contribute to executive protection activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Monitor, evaluate, and report security incidents, ensuring effective response and continuous improvement
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance security capabilities

Your Profile – authentic & open‑minded

• Extensive professional experience in Physical Security within a corporate or complex operational environment
• Strong expertise in physical security technologies and systems, frameworks, and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 27001)
• Solid understanding of IT and OT environments, including grid/energy infrastructure (EIS assets), operations, and design
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
• Strategic mindset combined with strong business acumen and understanding of risk and value creation
• Confident in decision‑making with a strong sense of accountability, able to act effectively under pressure and with incomplete information
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and cross‑functional approach
• Professional certification such as CPP, PSP, or CPO is a strong advantage
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
• Valid driver’s license (Class B)
