Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Germany to resolve complex LAN/WAN/WLAN issues and lead regional network initiatives. You will install, configure, document, and troubleshoot network equipment, while coordinating with government staff and contractors.

The role requires active Secret clearance, DoD 8570.01 compliance at IAM III, and hands-on expertise with TCP/IP, routing protocols, and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Orion and Ansible.

Qualifikationen

• Active Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570.01 / 8570.01-M compliance at IAM Level III or equivalent.
• DoD Health Care Information Systems experience required.
• Mastery-level experience with standard networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, RSTP, VRRP, BIND, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, PPP, HDLC, V.35, RS-449, Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, FDDI, ATM, and 802-series communications standards.
• Mastery-level experience in routed, switched, and shared LAN environments using supported Microsoft OS, Windows Active Directory, UNIX, OpenVMS, routers, switches, terminal servers, local WAN, and long-haul WAN connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with SolarWinds Orion, ARMIS, Ansible, MIB, MRTG-type monitoring, diagnostic tools, network administration tools, OTDR, cable testers, network sniffers, and EIA/TIA cable standards.
• Ability to establish and configure network firewalls, VPN devices, and IDSs.
• Ability to lead network specialists and coordinate with Government staff, medical personnel, other contractors, NetMOD Network Standards Team, and internal/external organizations.
