Ultra Maritime, a global leader in advanced maritime defence solutions, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a Work From Home role in the UK. You will identify materials and processes to ensure quality and manufacturability, and use design and modeling tools to develop mechanical parts and convey specs to stakeholders.

You will deliver engineering projects on time, maintain quality and budget, write reports, and present at design reviews.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a related field is required.
• Some vacancies may require full Security Clearance; BPSS at minimum.
• Evidence of identity and eligibility to work in the UK must be provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Identifies appropriate materials and processes to ensure the quality, performance, and manufacturability of products.
• Utilizes software and other design and modeling tools to plan, develop, and improve mechanical parts or components and communicate conceptual designs and specifications to stakeholders.
• Develops solutions and solves intermediate to semi-complex problems to deliver engineering projects on-time, on-quality, and on-budget.
• Writes reports and presents work at peer and design reviews.
• May provide training and support to new team members.
• May include safety, environmental protection, and compliance considerations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Typically, a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and related experience or a recognized apprenticeship.
• May be required to maintain security clearance.
• Security Requirements: This role requires undergoing Baseline Personnel Security Standard Check (BPSS) at minimum, with some roles requiring further national security vetting checks.
• Candidates must provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK, and employment and/or education history for up to three years.
• Some vacancies may require full Security Clearance, which may involve additional evidence.
• Reference: UK Vetting Service (UKSV).
