Marvel Fusion is building a team to realize fusion energy. We seek a Senior Manager Technical Recruiting to own end-to-end recruitment, set hiring standards, and attract exceptional talent across technical and non-technical roles.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on technical recruiting experience in science/engineering environments.
• Deep practical knowledge of Greenhouse as an ATS with pipeline management and reporting.
• Proven ability to source niche and passive candidates via multi-channel strategies.
• Strong network within deep-tech, engineering, physics, lasers or semiconductor sectors.
• Fluent English; German working proficiency is a strong advantage.

The impact you will make Marvel Fusion is building the team that will make fusion energy real — and as our (Senior) Manager Technical Recruiting, you will be the engine behind it. You will own recruiting end-to-end, set the standard for how we hire and ensure we always attract the exceptional people our mission demands. Your responsibilities End-to-End Recruitment Ownership: Own and manage the full recruitment lifecycle for all assigned technical and non-technical roles - from intake meeting with the Hiring Manager through active sourcing, CV screening, interview coordination and offer management to signed contract. Ensure every role has a clear, prioritised and consistently tracked pipeline in Greenhouse at all times. Process Excellence: Own and continuously optimise Greenhouse as our single source of truth for all recruiting activity — including pipelines, scorecards, automations and reporting. Ensure full compliance with data protection requirements and generate regular pipeline reports for leadership and relevant stakeholders. Stakeholder Management: Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to Hiring Managers and senior leaders, bringing market intelligence, structured thinking and creative sourcing to every search so that hiring decisions are fast, confident and consistently high-quality. Provide guidance on interview best practices and candidate evaluation frameworks. Proactively manage feedback loops to keep hiring processes moving at speed and without unnecessary delays. Bar Raiser Implementation: Establish and embed a Bar Raiser structure across all hiring processes, coaching Hiring Managers on interview excellence and ensuring that every offer extended raises the overall bar of the team. Active Sourcing & Talent Acquisition for Niche Profiles: Proactively source and attract highly specialised scientific, engineering and technical talent – including profiles with little or no LinkedIn presence – through academic networks, conferences, publications, professional communities and direct outreach. Build and maintain a strong, up-to-date talent pool for recurring and anticipated roles Cross-departmental collaboration: Partner closely with the People team, FP&A and the Chief of Staff to ensure recruiting efforts are always aligned with the hiring plan and business priorities.

What you bring

Proven experience in technical recruiting: Minimum 5 years of hands-on recruiting experience in technical, engineering-intensive or scientific environments, ideally within a start-up or scale-up context. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-volume hiring processes independently and without extensive support infrastructure. Greenhouse expertise (required): Deep, practical knowledge of Greenhouse as an ATS, including pipeline management, scorecard design, reporting, automation setup and day-to-day operational use. Ability to configure and optimise Greenhouse independently to meet the specific needs of a fast-moving organisation. Niche and passive candidate sourcing: Proven track record of identifying and engaging highly specialised talent profiles – including candidates with limited or no LinkedIn presence – through academic journals, conference networks, publications and creative multi-channel outreach strategies. Strong professional network: An established, active network within relevant technical and scientific talent communities, particularly in deep-tech, engineering, laser technology, physics or semiconductor fields. Ability to leverage this network to accelerate searches and access passive candidates. Languages: English: full professional proficiency (required). German: professional working proficiency (strong advantage). Ability to communicate clearly and credibly with both technical Hiring Managers and candidates at all seniority levels. Stakeholder management and communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to manage Hiring Managers proactively, set clear expectations, drive accountability and keep processes on track. Experience working closely with senior leadership and reporting directly to People/HR leadership. Nice to have: Experience recruiting for niche deep-tech roles (laser technology, fusion energy, experimental physics). Familiarity with Personio or comparable HRIS systems. Experience building or rebuilding a recruiting function from scratch
