Jobtailor in Germany seeks an experienced SAP Lead to own the end-to-end technical SAP landscape, including Basis, ABAP, integrations, security, and run support. You will ensure 24x7 stability, oversee ECC EHP7, and drive cloud/S/4HANA strategy while coordinating cross-functional teams.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years SAP experience across Basis/platform operations, ABAP and custom development lifecycle, integrations (IDoc, EDI, APIs), and SAP Security/GRC.

• Lead the end-to-end SAP technical landscape, including Basis, ABAP development, integrations, security, and run support.
• Own SAP platform availability, performance, reliability, monitoring, tuning, capacity planning, transports, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure 24x7 operational stability through incident, problem, and change management.
• Lead and develop cross-functional technical teams.
• Define and manage SLAs, KPIs, and accountability across technical services.
• Maintain and optimize the SAP ECC EHP7 landscape.
• Manage technical risks involving obsolete components, patching limits, custom code, and technical debt.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead SAP Cloud and S/4HANA strategy, roadmap, and technical readiness.
• Drive architecture, data migration, technical conversion, and clean-core remediation workstreams.
• Partner with business and architecture teams on scalable solutions.
• Oversee SAP integrations and data flows, including EDI, IDocs, middleware, and external partners.
• Ensure resilient, monitored, and traceable business transaction processing.
• Own SAP security and compliance, including access controls, SoD, audits, and cybersecurity alignment.
• Manage vendors and partners for SLA performance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 5+ years SAP experience across Basis/platform operations, ABAP and custom development lifecycle, integrations (IDoc, EDI, APIs, middleware), and SAP Security/GRC
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed technical teams
• Experience managing complex SAP ECC landscapes
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture and migration approaches
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and SAP hosting models
• Experience migrating on-premise SAP solutions to cloud platforms
• Vendor management and outsourced service delivery experience
• Advanced verbal and written English communication skills
• Experience with SAP RISE/Private Cloud, Clean Core strategy, SAP best practices, or spin-offs/TSA environments valued
