EXANTE is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our backend team and maintain the trading ecosystem. You will design and implement microservices, enhance existing libraries, and optimize performance across distributed systems.

The role requires 5+ years in Java, strong REST/gRPC experience, and proficiency with Spring and cloud platforms. Fluent English and Russian are expected as part of our global team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of Java memory model, GC, and concurrency techniques.
• Experience with Spring, Micronaut, Quarkus, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Kubernetes, EKS, GCP).
• Proficient English and Russian language skills.

About Role:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team and play a vital role in building and maintaining our backend trading ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop microservices in Java (17 or later) as part of our backend system
• Maintain and enhance existing Java libraries and internal frameworks
• Troubleshoot and improve the performance and reliability of backend services
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Understanding of software design principles and patterns
• Knowledge of various concurrent technics (blocking, CAS, Future/Promise, Actors)
• Understanding of Java Memory Model and GC principles
• Experience with building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with binary protocols (e.g., gRPC)
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and messages brokers (e.g., Kafka)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis, Cassandra, Clickhouse, etc) is a plus
• Experience with popular Java frameworks (Spring, Micronaut, Quarkus, etc) and libraries
• Experience with building cloud (EKS, GCP, Kubernetes) platform
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Scala is a plus
• Fluency in both Russian and English
