SumUppers Berlin seeks an experienced Senior IT Internal Auditor to build and run IT audits across the annual plan, assess IT general controls, infrastructure and governance, and provide evidence-based findings to management.

You’ll report to the Global Head of Internal Audit and collaborate with stakeholders across the business, shaping technology risk approaches for years to come. Fluency in English is required. Office-first Berlin-based role.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as an internal auditor within a regulated financial services environment, focusing on IT audits.
• Strong knowledge of audit standards and IT general controls frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL or NIST.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders.

About the team

Internal Audit at the company gives independent assurance that our controls, processes and infrastructure hold up as the business grows across 38 markets. As our IT Internal Auditor, you'll build that capability from the ground up, planning and running technology reviews across the annual audit plan and giving management a clear, evidence based view of where controls are strong and where they need work. You'll report directly to the Global Head of Internal Audit and work closely with stakeholders across the business, the Audit Committee and external auditors, shaping how the company approaches technology risk for years to come.

You’ll be great for this role if…

• Experience working as an internal auditor within a regulated financial services environment, with a focus on IT audits.
• Strong knowledge of audit standards, risk management and IT general controls frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL or NIST.
• Comfort working with data structures, data security, cloud architecture or network infrastructure in at least one area.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly in writing and in person, including to senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
