ORBIS SE in Saarbrücken is seeking a (Senior) IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/x) to support our internal IT department and ensure stable, future-proof IT operations. You will manage virtualization, networking, firewalls, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, and contribute to on-premise and cloud initiatives.

You will analyze faults, develop sustainable solutions, and work on infrastructure projects within a dynamic team.

Qualifikationen

• Completed apprenticeship or degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience operating IT infrastructures.
• Ideally experience in Microsoft Cloud (M365/Azure).
• Fluent German and good English skills.
• A structured, solution-oriented approach and strong team spirit.

You will manage our existing systems in the areas of virtualisation, networking, firewalls, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, ensuring reliable and smooth operation. You will analyse faults in a structured manner, develop sustainable solutions and ensure that our systems remain stable and future-proof in the long term. In addition, you will contribute to the further development of our IT landscape in both on-premise and cloud environments and play an active role in technical measures and infrastructure projects. You will keep a close eye on the latest developments and trends and, with your expertise, make a significant contribution to the continuous optimisation and advancement of our IT systems.
