Agrivero UG in Berlin seeks a senior hardware engineer to own the hardware backbone of our AI-powered coffee tech. You’ll lead from prototype to mass production, shaping mechanical, electrical, and system integration for field-deployable units.

Work closely with ML and software teams to optimize for manufacturability, specify tests, and ensure certifications. This is a founding-team role with global impact and equity potential.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hardware/robotics engineering experience.
• Strong background in mechanical design (CAD), electronics, mechatronics, and embedded systems integration.
• Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and transitioning hardware from pilot to mass production.
• Familiarity with optics and sensing systems (cameras, NIR sensors, illumination).
• Proven track record with compliance/certification processes (CE, FCC, safety standards).
• Strong prototyping skills and ability to iterate quickly in a startup environment.
• Extensive experience setting up and scaling production for similar products.
• Bonus: experience in agri-tech, foodtech, or industrial inspection systems.

Your Role

• Own hardware development from prototype to production: mechanical, electrical, and system integration.
• Optimize our device for manufacturability, maintenance, and scalability - turning lab hardware into robust, field-deployable units.

What We’re Looking For
