MULTIROTOR is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to own the electronics of the CoPilot Nano from schematic to production. You will work directly with our CTO and founding team, bringing extensive experience from the UAS industry, or related high-reliability fields.

You don’t need a drone background; if you’ve designed electronics for cars, aircraft, industrial machines, or medical devices, you already know what matters: rigorous component qualification, second sources on the BOM, clean EMC

Qualifikationen

• Excellent PCB design and layout skills.
• 5+ years building safety-critical electronics (UAS, automotive, aerospace, industrial, or medical).
• End-to-end board ownership experience preferred.
• Strong analog and digital circuit design, high-speed routing and signal integrity.

MULTIROTOR is on a mission to deliver the silicon that powers Europe’s autonomous drones.

The heart of this mission is the CoPilot Nano. The smallest flight controller combining real-time flight control and an onboard companion computer on a single chip.

The role

As our Senior Hardware Engineer, you'll own the electronics of the CoPilot Nano and its next generations end-to-end, from schematic to production. You'll work directly with our CTO and founding team, who bring extensive experience from the UAS industry.

You don't need a drone background. Maybe you've spent years designing electronics for cars, aircraft, industrial machines, or medical devices. If so, you already know what matters: rigorous component qualification, second sources on the BOM, clean EMC behavior, and boards that simply don't fail in the field.

You will be a great fit if you:

• … are an excellent PCB designer
• … have 5+ years of professional experience designing safety-critical or high-reliability electronics (uas, automotive, aerospace, industrial or medical)
• … have owned at least one board end-to-end
• … have experience with analog and digital circuit design, high-speed routing and signal integrity
• … have your own home electronics workbench because hardware is what you love
• … are intrinsically motivated to continuously learn and improve your skills
• … are an exceptional problem solver and a critical thinker
• … have a strong technical foundation backed by a degree in Engineering, or equivalent field

You will NOT fit if you:

• … do not care about space-efficient design, system reliability, and performance under real-world constraints
• … think a single-source BOM is somebody else's problem
• … think documentation is for losers
