Discover International is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to own features end to end. You’ll build customer‑facing web apps on a mature Java Spring base with Angular on the frontend, collaborating with Product, UX and Design to decide what gets built.

You will influence architecture, enforce quality through reviews and testing, and mentor engineers while working in a hybrid setup near Frankfurt am Main.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional Java development with Spring / Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• 3+ years building production applications in Angular.
• Experience in financial services or insurance with emphasis on compliance and data integrity.
• Fluent German (C1 or higher) and solid English.

Our client is an established B2B financial technology business whose platform sits at the centre of how lenders, brokers and insurers transact in Germany. Their products handle real money and real regulatory weight — which means the engineering problems are genuinely hard, and the code you write matters to thousands of daily users.

They're growing the core product team and looking for a senior full-stack engineer to take ownership of features end to end, from shaping the approach with the Product Owner through to production.

What you'll be doing

• Building and evolving customer-facing web applications on a mature Java Spring codebase with Angular on the front end
• Working in a cross-functional team alongside Product, UX and Design — not taking tickets off a backlog, but helping decide what gets built
• Driving architectural decisions and pushing the platform toward a cleaner, more modular structure
• Setting the technical bar through code review, testing and mentoring less experienced developers

What you'll need

• 5+ years of professional Java development (Spring / Spring Boot, REST, JPA, SQL)
• 3+ years building production applications in Angular
• Commercial experience within financial services or insurance — you understand why compliance, auditability and data integrity aren't negotiable
• Fluent German (C1 or better) and solid English
• Based in or within commuting distance of Frankfurt am Main
