DataWalk is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to design and deliver high-performance Java-based software that underpins our analytics platform. The role requires 7+ years in product-focused development, fluency in Java/Spring/SQL, and experience with TypeScript/Angular.

Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java and Angular)

DataWalk is the Data and Analytics Platform with an Enterprise Knowledge Graph. DataWalk turns fragmented data into an enterprise knowledge graph - enabling humans and AI to uncover hidden patterns and answer complex multi-hop questions at a population scale. Our system is used by US Departments, Intelligence Agencies, and top Fortune500 companies to combat money laundering, fraud, human trafficking, terrorism, or organized crime. We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our Product Engineering teams. The position will play a significant role in architecting, designing, developing, and delivering high-performance Java-based software solutions that underpin our platform's stability, scalability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement core components of the DataWalk platform.

Identify, recommend, design and implement non-functional and performance improvements.

Evaluate new technologies and their application to the business.

Work with team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review code and/or design proper testing mechanisms.

Support back-end engineering efficiency initiatives.

Requirements:

7+ years of professional experience, preferably in a product-focused company.

Fluency in Java, Spring, and SQL.

Experience with TypeScript and Angular.

Strong knowledge of SQL databases (preferably columnar databases) and experience with RESTful web services.

Familiarity with Redis, ActiveMQ Artemis (JMS), and Docker.

B2 English proficiency (for effective communication).

Demonstrated high level of ownership and initiative (high agency).

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

Kubernetes and Kubernetes API.

Knowledge of/experience in graph analytics.

Experience in the area of back-end performance measurement, analysis and improvements.
