Jobtailor is seeking a SENIOR Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team in Germany. You will design, build and implement customer-focused web applications based on Shopware, with emphasis on user experience, UI/UX, and performance. You will optimize conversions and Core Web Vitals while ensuring high-quality, maintainable frontend code.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments, shaping the customer journey and driving impactful improvements in loading times and usability.

Qualifikationen

• Fluent in German and English.

• Degree in computer science or IT training, or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• As a SENIOR Frontend Developer, you are a central member of our development team and take responsibility for exciting client projects.
• You design, develop and implement customer-focused, technically and visually appealing, and intuitively usable web applications based on Shopware.
• As part of shop development, you consider the customer journey and UI/UX.
• You develop ideas to improve conversion rates, user experience and Core Web Vitals.
• You optimize loading times and analyze abandonment rates.
• You ensure that all features are implemented flawlessly in terms of performance and usability and meet high quality standards.
• You coordinate independently with all relevant stakeholders and ensure smooth collaboration.

Requirements

• Ownership – You actively shape our team and culture and take responsibility.
• Multilingual – Fluent in German and English; you also have fluent knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Professional / Ambitious – You hold a degree in computer science, completed vocational training as an IT specialist, or have an equivalent qualification.
• Additionally, you have at least 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce and shop platforms, ideally Shopware, or other content management systems.
