Zusammenfassung

Berlin Bytes is seeking an experienced frontend developer to build and maintain high-performance, accessible websites and web apps in Berlin. You will contribute to frontend, backend, API, and data-model design, and collaborate on CMS-driven sites with localisation.

The role is freelance/contractor for 2–3 months (30-40 hours per week), starting in September. You should have strong React experience (Next.js preferred), TypeScript, REST/GraphQL, and deep knowledge of HTML5/CSS (Tailwind CSS/CSS

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional web development delivering production-ready websites and web apps.
• Strong React experience; Next.js preferred.
• Full-stack with TypeScript, REST/GraphQL, authentication, state management, and database-backed apps.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms like Strapi/Contentful, including localisation and editorial workflows.
• HTML5/CSS with Tailwind CSS or CSS Modules.
• Git/GitHub and collaborative workflows.
• Performance, accessibility, and SEO optimization.
• Deployment workflows, CI/CD, and cloud hosting.
• Internationalisation/localisation approaches and regional content requirements.
• Strong communication, judgment, and independent work ability.
• AI-powered dev tools a plus.

• Build and maintain high-performance, accessible websites and web apps.
