MILES is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to own budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics for a fast-growing business unit. You will translate data into actionable insights and partner with management to influence pricing, scaling, and key decisions.

In this high-visibility role, you will manage the Subscription P&L end-to-end, drive the rolling budget, and define KPI frameworks across multiple entities, enabling strategic finance across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• 5–7 years in FP&A, controlling or financial analytics, ideally in a data-heavy environment.
• Strong SQL plus working knowledge of Python or R, Power Query, Office Scripts.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling: driver-based models, scenario analysis and multi-entity structures.
• Solid grounding in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Strong commercial and accounting fluency: understand provisioning entries flow through the P&L.

Aufgaben

• Own and drive the Subscription P&L end to end: revenue recognition, provisioning, direct cost allocation and monthly contribution margin.
• Own the Subscription budget and rolling forecast process: act as the key stakeholder point of contact, build the model, challenge inputs from all departments, and deliver variance analysis with forward-looking commentary.
• Define, build and own the Business Unit KPI framework: track the active base, churn, and contribution margin, turning numbers into clear, actionable insight for management.
• Support pricing and promo decisions with data: model the P&L impact of subscription price changes, promo campaigns and contract-length shifts.
• Maintain and improve the group cost allocation model: clarify allocation keys, document methodology and apply it consistently across entities.
• Design and own the unit-economics framework: calculation methodology and process.

In this high‑visibility role you will own budgeting, forecasting, and dive deep into unit economics and cost allocation. You will translate complex data into actionable business steps and partner closely with management and cross‑functional teams to influence pricing, scaling, and critical decisions.

Your Responsibility

• Own and drive the Subscription P&L end to end: revenue recognition, provisioning, direct cost allocation and monthly contribution margin.
• Own the Subscription budget and rolling forecast process: act as the key stakeholder point of contact, build the model, challenge inputs from all departments, and deliver variance analysis with forward‑looking commentary.
• Define, build and own the Business Unit KPI framework: track the active base, churn, and contribution margin, turning numbers into clear, actionable insight for management.
• Support pricing and promo decisions with data: model the P&L impact of subscription price changes, promo campaigns and contract‑length shifts.

Your Experience

• 5–7 years in FP&A, controlling or financial analytics, ideally in a data‑heavy environment.
• Strong SQL plus working knowledge of wider analytics toolkit (Python or R, Power Query, Office Scripts): query invoice tables, aging views and transaction logs independently.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling: driver‑based models, scenario analysis and multi‑entity structures.
• Solid grounding in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Strong commercial and accounting fluency: understand provisioning entries flow through the P&L and balance sheet and their business impact.
• Curious, strategic, and proactive working style with a hands‑on mentality.
• Business‑fluent in English; business‑level German.
