Springer Nature is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Cash Flow to deliver accurate cash flow insights, forecasting, and reporting across the group. The role focuses on liquidity optimisation, forecasting capability, and data-driven decision support in a hybrid setup based in Heidelberg or Berlin.
You will build robust forecasting models, dashboards, and KPIs, collaborating with Treasury, Group Finance, and senior leaders to drive cash generation and risk mitigation.

As Senior Financial Analyst – Cash Flow, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and actionable total cash flow insights, forecasting, and performance reporting across the Springer Nature Group. You will serve as a trusted business partner, helping to optimise liquidity, strengthen cash generation, and support the achievement of the Group's strategic and financial objectives. In this role, you will lead the development of robust cash flow forecasting and planning capabilities, ensuring that cash performance, liquidity risks, and opportunities are clearly understood and embedded in business decision-making. You will combine strong analytical expertise with commercial insight to translate complex financial and operational data into meaningful recommendations that drive business performance. Working with a high degree of independence, you will champion continuous improvement across cash flow reporting and planning processes, leveraging automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled insights to enhance forecasting accuracy, increase efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making across the organisation. This is a hybrid role based in Heidelberg or Berlin. These locations support effective collaboration with the team and aligns with business needs.
