Senior ERP Engineer – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance

Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations developer to design and implement scalable ERP solutions across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cash & Bank Management. You will build enterprise integrations, data entities, workflows and business events, while driving performance optimization, reporting, and CI/CD practices.

This remote‑first role in Germany includes monthly collaboration days in our Cologne office.

Qualifikationen

• Experience developing Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions with expertise in X++ and Finance modules.
• Proven ability to build enterprise integrations using REST, OData and DMF/Business Events or Dual-write.
• You value clean, scalable ERP designs and collaborative knowledge sharing.

• Design and develop scalable Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions across GL, AP, AR, FA and Cash & Bank Management.
• Build custom integrations, services, Data Entities, workflows and business events for seamless connectivity across ERP systems.
• Drive continuous improvement with reports, ER solutions and automated financial processes while optimizing performance.
• Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, CI/CD, release management and best practices.
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, QA Engineers and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions that support our core finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cash & Bank Management.
• Build custom integrations, services, Data Entities, workflows and business events, enabling seamless connectivity across our enterprise systems and supporting business growth.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing high-quality reports, Electronic Reporting (ER) solutions and automated financial processes while optimising system performance.
• Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, CI/CD, release management and the application of Microsoft development best practices.
• Partner with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, QA Engineers and business stakeholders throughout the full software development lifecycle, from solution design through to production deployment.

Requirements

• You have strong experience developing solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with expert knowledge of X++ and the Finance modules.
• You are confident building enterprise integrations using REST APIs, OData, Data Management Framework (DMF), Business Events or Dual-write.
• You enjoy designing clean, scalable and maintainable ERP solutions and are passionate about improving engineering quality through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• You are happy working in a remote‑first environment within Germany and enjoy coming together with your colleagues through monthly collaboration days in our Cologne office.
