• You are comfortable being hands-on to guide the team on technical decisions, system design, and best engineering practices.
• You have the ability to work from our Helsinki office three days a week.

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join Smartly’s Creative Engineering group to lead a team responsible for building and maintaining integrations with multiple advertising platforms. The team plays a key role in enabling Smartly’s creative offering by ensuring our systems connect seamlessly with external partner APIs and services at scale.

The team designs, builds, and operates high-scale integration services that are relied on by some of the world’s largest advertisers. These integrations are a critical part of how creatives are delivered, managed, and optimized across channels, making the team’s work central to the overall product experience.

The main technologies used by the team include: Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes; React for selected UI workflows; deep integrations with external advertising platforms and the broader Smartly infrastructure.
