Infineon Technologies Bipolar GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Senior Engineer Wafer Processing to lead process development for bipolar semiconductor devices.

You will design chemical processes, conduct DoE-based experiments, and work closely with lab and manufacturing teams to optimize yield and throughput. Qualifications include a degree in a relevant field, early semiconductor frontend experience, chemical handling knowledge, and proficiency in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• A university degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related field).
• Initial experience in semiconductor frontend manufacturing and labs is preferred.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling is required.
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor devices and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Analytical mindset with excellent German and English language skills.

• Develop and characterize wafer manufacturing processes focused on chemical processes for bipolar devices.
• Plan and conduct preliminary experiments on process parameters using DoE methods.
• Perform chemical experiments in a laboratory environment.
• Support equipment specifications, participate in supplier discussions, and qualify equipment for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and transfer developed processes to production.
• Implement measures to increase yield and throughput within projects.
