You have a clear idea of what you want: To contribute to the vision of safe and energy-efficient flying, in a team of like-minded aviation enthusiasts who are determined to shape the future of aviation.
This is what you can do:
Development & Integration
- Define, design and develop or modify the aircraft electrical power generation and distribution system, including equipment, interfaces and installation requirements
- Derive, allocate, manage and verify system and equipment requirements in accordance with ED-79/ARP4754A and the applicable development assurance framework
- Develop and maintain system architecture, interface definitions, functional descriptions, design data and other type design documents
- Perform and maintain Electrical Load Analysis and support protection coordination and failure case assessments
- Conduct technical trade studies and provide substantiated recommendations considering safety, performance, integration, weight, cost, schedule and industrial impact
Certification & Testing
- Plan and prepare certification compliance evidences for the applicable Means of Compliance (Moc 0-9)
- Prepare, review and support aircraft and system safety assessments at system and equipment level in coordination with the safety function
- Plan and support design reviews, qualification activities, laboratory and rig testing, aircraft ground tests and flight tests; evaluate results and manage technical findings
- Participate in EASA and other authority panel meetings and prepare technical reviews
Technical Coordination & Supplier Management
- Prepare system and equipment specifications and technical inputs for supplier selection and contracting
- Act as the technical focal point for equipment suppliers, engineering partners and internal stakeholders; review and accept supplier data and deliverables
- Support configuration, change, problem and risk management; assess technical deviations, non-conformities and change requests
- Ensure timely delivery and technical quality of assigned work packages; communicate status, risks, dependencies and decisions to the line manager and programme stakeholders
Technical Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Develop technically robust solutions for production and in-service issues and support root-cause analysis and corrective action definition
- Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering methods, standards, tools and lessons learned
