Deine Aufgaben: You work in a dedicated team on innovative solutions in a dynamic, product-oriented environment. You take end-to-end responsibility for our infrastructure and DevOps processes — from the Kubernetes platform and CI/CD pipelines through to monitoring, databases, and security.
Aufgaben
- Kubernetes & containers: operation and expansion of our clusters — node setup, upgrades, deployments, troubleshooting, and application testing;
- onboarding of development teams onto the platform;
- management of Docker-based container solutions and their integration into the existing infrastructure;
- CI/CD & GitOps: maintenance and further development of our GitLab environment, including pipelines, runners, the GitLab Agent for Kubernetes, and the Jira integration;
- GitOps-based delivery with ArgoCD or Flux Automation & Infrastructure as Code: provisioning and configuration management with Terraform and Ansible;
- Databases: installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our database systems;
- Observability: setup and operation of ELK / TIG / Grafana / Alloy stacks — installation, configuration, dashboards, and alerting;
- Networks & diagnostics: analysis and optimisation of our networks; log file analysis and systematic root cause analysis, up to and including complex incidents at packet level;
- Security: security checks at application and infrastructure level, plus security gates in the pipeline (SAST, dependency/SCA scanning, secrets detection, SBOM generation, artifact signing).
Dein Profil
- A degree in computer science, a STEM subject, or an equivalent qualification gained through several years of professional experience
- Strong Linux skills and solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, MTU/routing) with proven troubleshooting ability
- At least 3 years of hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments, along with container technologies (Docker/OCI)
- Hands-on depth with GitLab CI/CD or comparable systems, and with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD or Flux
- Practical experience automating infrastructure and configuration as code with Terraform and Ansible
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills, with a structured, detail-oriented way of working
- A collaborative mindset: you enjoy developing solutions together, document your work, and share knowledge across the team
Nice to have
- Experience with a specific cloud platform (OCI, Azure, AWS, or GCP) and with migration projects
- Familiarity with DevSecOps toolchains such as SonarQube, Sonatype Lifecycle, Trivy, or Cosign/Sigstore
