Responsibilities

• You will work in an innovative and fast‑growing environment, leveraging your strong communication skills to turn data into tangible business value for the company.
• You will collaborate closely with your team and business partners in an agile setup to develop data‑driven products that solve business challenges – including building data pipelines as well as working on product, reporting, and analytics topics.
• You will design and maintain a scalable, cloud‑based data landscape that establishes a new foundation for working with data at DKV.
• You will prepare your results in a clear and understandable way and present them effectively to business stakeholders.
• You will stay open to new approaches and continuously optimise your solutions to achieve better results in terms of performance, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

• You hold a degree in (business) mathematics, computer science, economics, or a comparable field.
• You bring relevant professional experience in the data space, for example as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
• You have solid knowledge of SQL and Python, as well as proven experience in building cloud‑based data pipelines using tools such as Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, DBT, and Azure Data Lake.
• You have a strong interest in business contexts. You question requirements and aim to understand the context of the data and how it is ultimately used.
• You stand out through strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• You are proficient in English at a business fluent level and have very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
