Jobtailor seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure in enterprise German environments. You will implement IaC with Terraform, manage CI/CD pipelines, and run containers with Docker/Kubernetes to support secure, cost-efficient architectures.

You will shape cloud strategy, optimize monitoring, and lead time‑critical incidents with a DevOps mindset, collaborating with security, product teams, and developers while leveraging AI tools to stay productive.

• Develop productively with AI tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor)

Requirements

• Senior level
• Deep AWS knowledge — architecture and operations (ideally AWS certification: Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (or CloudFormation), Docker, Kubernetes
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions; Git; agile working
• Linux and basic networking and security fundamentals
• Scripting: Python, Bash or Go
• Nice to have: IAM (One Identity, Keycloak), cloud security, monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus), Apache Kafka, Azure or GCP
• German at C1 level or higher
• AI tools are mandatory, not optional; you must be productive with Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor
