Merz Aesthetics GmbH in Frankfurt am Main is seeking a seasoned Clinical Data Scientist to lead data strategies across the development lifecycle. You will leverage analytics, risk-based methodologies, and AI-enabled review to ensure data quality and regulatory readiness.

You will design dashboards and metrics, manage data integration across clinical systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related; PhD is an advantage.
• +5 years in clinical data science, data management, biometrics, or related field.
• Proficient in SAS, R, or Power BI; Python, JReview, or CluePoints is an advantage.
• Experience with EDC systems and CDISC SDTM; CDASH/ADaM is a plus.
• Solid understanding of ICH, GCP, FDA; ISO 14155, MDR, MDCG guidance beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, communication, and PM skills.
• Collaborative in agile environments; comfortable with cross-functional teamwork.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps including Copilot, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.
• Fluent in English; able to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.

• You develop, execute, and optimize clinical data strategies across the development lifecycle by leveraging advanced analytics, risk-based methodologies, and emerging technologies.
• You apply automated and AI-enabled approaches to clinical data review to identify data inconsistencies, protocol deviations, and emerging risks.
• You develop and standardize dashboards, study metrics, and data visualizations to support effective clinical trial oversight and data-driven decision-making.
• You support risk-based quality management activities by monitoring critical-to-quality data points, quality tolerance limits, and key risk indicators.
• You oversee the integration and exchange of data from multiple clinical systems and external sources, ensuring consistency, quality, and traceability across the data landscape.
• You support the implementation of clinical data standards, database integrations, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• You evaluate and implement innovative technologies, automation initiatives, and process improvements to enhance data review, data exchange, and operational efficiency.
• You contribute to real-world data and real-world evidence initiatives, supporting their assessment and implementation where applicable.
• You support audits, inspections, and CRO oversight activities related to clinical data management, statistical programming, and risk-based monitoring.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions, standardization, and continuous improvement across multiple projects.

What we expect from you:

• You hold a Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline; a PhD is considered an advantage.
• You bring +5 years of relevant professional experience in clinical data science, clinical data management, biometrics, or a related field.
• You are proficient in SAS, R, or Power BI, while experience with Python, JReview, or CluePoints is considered an advantage.
• You have experience with EDC systems and clinical data standards, particularly CDISC standards such as SDTM; knowledge of CDASH and ADaM is a plus.
• You possess a solid understanding of ICH, GCP, and FDA requirements; knowledge of ISO 14155, MDR, and MDCG guidance is beneficial.
• You combine strong analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• You thrive in collaborative, agile environments and are equally comfortable working independently and across cross-functional teams.
• You are comfortable working with Microsoft 365 applications, including Copilot, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• You communicate fluently in English and can present complex technical and scientific concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
