We are looking for a Senior Business Controller to lead the day-to-day operations of the Finance team and provide financial leadership for our pharmaceutical business in Germany. J&J Innovative Medicine Germany is a commercial entity, responsible for sales, marketing market access and other related activities and is the 2nd largest commercial pharmaceutical company in Germany ad the 2nd largest for J&J globally, representing more than $3.6B in Net Trade Sales annually.
In this role, you will be a trusted business partner to the Senior Finance Director Germany as well as the management board, and play a key role in driving financial performance, planning, governance, and strategic decision-making.
You will be responsible for end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, including Business Plan, Planning updates, Latest Thinking rounds, our monthly Integrated Business Planning cycle as well as our Long-Term Strategic Plan. You will oversee actuals analysis, planning, and forecasting for the operating company, while ensuring compliant financial statements, robust controls, and effective risk management, aligning all of this with the local board and the EMEA finance partners.
As the primary finance contact for the regional EMEA Finance team, you will collaborate closely with local, regional, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on assumptions and performance and lead a team of finance professionals.
You will also contribute to local and regional EMEA finance and business projects and workstreams that support the ongoing evolution of the finance function and strategy.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 8–10 years of relevant finance experience, with a strong track record in business partnering, forecasting, planning, and business analytics.
