Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor in Karlsruhe is seeking a core member of the engineering team to develop and operate our cloud-based broker platform. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with IT, Marketing, Support and Business units, and build the backend using Java and Spring Boot on AWS.

You will handle 3rd-level support and oversee end-of-day processing and securities orders. The role requires several years of experience with cloud backend development, a strong grasp of trading/brokerage, and

Qualifikationen

• Develop and operate cloud-based backend applications (preferably AWS) using Java, Spring Boot and REST.
• Solid knowledge of trading, brokerage and banking environments.
• Experience in securities settlement, order management and end-of-day processing is ideal.
• Experience with AI tools is beneficial.
• Experience with MySQL or similar relational, transaction-based databases.
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban and agile processes.
• Knowledge of tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Analytical mindset with strategic and process-oriented thinking.
• Strong communication skills and receptiveness to feedback.
• Fluent German language skills, spoken and written, at least C1.
