Zusammenfassung

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, Munich, is seeking a Tax Specialist to support reporting under IAS 12/IAS 34 and coordinate transfer pricing, compliance, and risk monitoring across the group. The role involves spending time in an international, dynamic environment and collaborating with investment and operations teams.

You will contribute to digitalising tax processes and ensuring accurate tax accounting under HGB/IFRS, while communicating fluently in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in tax advisory and/or an international corporate environment with exposure to international tax law, tax accounting (HGB/IFRS), transfer pricing, or tax compliance
• Business fluency in German and English with the ability to communicate clearly

Aufgaben

• Support tax reporting activities and coordinate processes related to income taxes under IAS 12 / IAS 34 as part of consolidated, annual, and interim financial statements
• Manage and coordinate internal transfer pricing processes and ensure group-wide compliance with documentation requirements such as Country-by-Country Reporting, DAC 6, and Pillar II
• Monitor tax risks across the Group and analyze regulatory developments in national and international tax law; develop mitigation recommendations
• Support general tax compliance activities and be a contact for payroll tax and VAT-related matters
• Drive and implement tax-related digitalisation and automation projects

Mutares actively supports its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add‑on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues ranging from EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million, across various industries. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long‑term growth of the portfolio company.

Your Tasks

• Support tax reporting activities and coordinate processes related to the calculation of income taxes under IAS 12 / IAS 34 as part of the preparation of consolidated, annual, and interim financial statements
• Manage and coordinate internal transfer pricing processes, ensure group‑wide compliance with statutory documentation requirements such as Country‑by‑Country Reporting, DAC 6, and Pillar II, and further develop existing processes and procedures
• Monitor tax risks across the Group, support the analysis of regulatory developments in national and international tax law, and develop recommendations to mitigate tax risks
• Support general tax compliance activities and act as a point of contact for complex payroll tax and VAT‑related matters
• Drive and implement tax‑related digitalisation and automation projects

Your Profile

• Successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in tax advisory and/or an international corporate environment, with exposure to areas such as international tax law, tax accounting (HGB/IFRS), transfer pricing, or tax compliance
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and foreign tax regulations, as well as a tax advisor qualification (Steuerberaterexamen), is considered a plus
• Exceptional entrepreneurship to find and implement creative solutions, energy and drive to solve complex problems as well as resilience during distressed situations
• Business fluency in German and English with the ability to communicate in a well‑structured and concise manner
