Zusammenfassung

Ally Financial is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to develop and support a robust reserving framework for Ally Insurance. You will independently lead projects, perform advanced analytics, and present results to Management and Senior Leadership. Strong programming skills and leadership qualities are essential.

The role offers Detroit hybrid preference with remote option possible and opportunities for advancement. Relevant actuarial credentials and several years of experience are required.

Qualifikationen

  • ACAS or near ACAS; 5+ Casualty Actuarial Society exams required
  • 4+ years of experience in actuarial or data science roles; exposure to advanced ratemaking and/or reserving a plus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Programming skills in R required (SQL useful)
  • Ability to adapt to change and adjust priorities quickly, as necessary and appropriate
  • High level of problem solving and critical thinking capabilities
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance, economics, actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis

Work Schedule

Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

This role is Detroit Hybrid preferred; however, remote option possible.

The Senior Actuarial Analyst is responsible for developing and supporting a robust reserving framework at Ally Insurance. The Senior Actuarial Analyst will be expected to independently lead projects from start to finish. This includes brainstorming, accurately executing advanced analytics, and effectively communicating results to Management and Senior Leadership. This role will have high visibility to Leadership and future advancement opportunities. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated leadership, communication, and technical skills. Programming skills a must. SQL/R/Python preferred.

The Qualifications We’re Looking For

Base Pay Range

$85,000.00 - $150,000.00

An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation

This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
