You will install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot CCTV, access control and intrusion systems, conduct site surveys, and coordinate with IT, operations and real estate to ensure high availability.

Qualifikationen

Adecco is currently looking for an experienced Security Systems Field Engineer (m/f/d) for an international technology and manufacturing client in the Berlin-Brandenburg area.

This is a hands‑on technical position focused on the installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of physical security systems in a complex, fast‑paced industrial environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair access control systems, CCTV/video surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems and other low‑voltage security equipment


• Test, configure, program and commission new security devices and systems


• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high operational availability of security infrastructure


• Conduct site surveys for new installations and support the development of system designs and installation plans


• Prepare material lists and coordinate the technical requirements for installations


• Collaborate with Security, IT, Operations, Production, Real Estate and other internal teams


• Maintain technical documentation and system architecture records


• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and cost efficiency


• Support and conduct Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) surveys and inspections

Your Profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience with technical / physical security systems


• Strong experience with CCTV / video surveillance and access control systems


• Experience with intrusion detection systems and other security devices


• Very good understanding of low‑voltage electrical systems


• Experience with installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks in a fast‑paced environment


• Business‑fluent English is mandatory


• German language skills are NOT required

Nice to Have

• Experience or certifications with Gallagher, Genetec or Commend


• Networking knowledge and/or CCNA certification


• Experience in manufacturing, corporate or large‑scale industrial environments


• Previous experience with TSCM
