Zusammenfassung

Merz Aesthetics is seeking an Analytical Lab Specialist for the Central Analytics unit in Frankfurt. The role involves developing and validating analytical methods, performing GMP-compliant testing, and handling order tracking via LIMS in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 3–5 years in an analytical lab, CTA/PTA training or life sciences degree, and expertise with HPLC-MS, GC-MS, IR and UV, plus GMP knowledge and bilingual German/English skills.

Qualifikationen

  • Completion of vocational training as CTA or PTA or life sciences degree.
  • 3–5 years in an analytical laboratory.
  • Experience in aesthetic medical device development preferred.
  • Experience in analytical method development and validation.
  • Practical expertise in HPLC-MS, GC-MS, IR and UV.
  • Sound GMP knowledge and regulatory awareness.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Chromeleon software.
  • Analytical thinking, strong communication and teamwork.
  • Reliable, independent and well organized.

Aufgaben

  • Independently perform analytical tasks in Central Analytics in GMP compliance.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods per requirements.
  • Conduct GMP-compliant testing of ICH stability samples.
  • Independently track and process analytical orders using LIMS.
  • Prepare SOPs, work instructions, test instructions and test plans.
  • Operate, maintain and perform GMP-compliant checks of analytical instruments.
  • Prepare, archive and maintain project documentation.
  • Evaluate and monitor internal and external analytical work, including method validation.
  • Transfer analytical methods to GTO or external contract labs; prepare plans/reports.

This role is limited to 24 month.

The following responsibilities are awaiting you:
  • You independently perform analytical tasks within Central Analytics in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • You develop and validate analytical methods in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements.
  • You conduct GMP-compliant testing of ICH stability samples.
  • You independently track and process analytical orders using LIMS.
  • You carry out GMP-related documentation activities, including the preparation of SOPs, work instructions, test instructions and test plans.
  • You operate, maintain and perform GMP-compliant functional checks of analytical instruments and supporting equipment.
  • You prepare, archive and maintain project documentation.
  • You evaluate and monitor internal and external analytical work, including method development and validation, analytical results and stability studies.
  • You take responsibility for transferring analytical methods to GTO or external contract laboratories and prepare the corresponding plans and reports.
What we expect from you:
  • You have completed vocational training, for example as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant (PTA), together with relevant professional experience, or you hold a degree in life sciences or natural sciences.
  • You bring 3-5 years of professional experience in an analytical laboratory.
  • You ideally have experience in aesthetic medical device development.
  • You have experience in analytical method development and validation
  • You have practical expertise in analytical techniques, including HPLC(-MS), GC(-MS), IR and UV.
  • You have sound knowledge of GMP requirements.
  • You have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with Chromeleon chromatography software.
  • You demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • You work reliably and independently and have strong organizational skills.
