Zusammenfassung

Clario in Germany seeks a Scientific Advisor to provide scientific expertise across Sales, Marketing, and Science Services for clinical trial technologies. You will translate regulatory and scientific requirements into study design and data collection strategies, guiding proposals and client meetings with evidence-based recommendations.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will shape trial design, contribute to product development, and share insights at conferences and publications,

Qualifikationen

  • PhD preferred; Master’s considered for highly qualified candidates.
  • 0–3 years of experience in clinical trial technology, life sciences, biopharmaceutical development, or related industry.
  • Experience supporting clinical trials and understanding drug development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of electronic clinical outcome assessment (eCOA) or related digital health solutions.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to engage scientific, clinical, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into customer-focused solutions.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and customer-facing experience in pre-sales, post-sales, or scientific consulting environments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to continuously learn, adapt, and contribute across functions.

Aufgaben

  • Review clinical trial protocols from prospective customers and provide scientific recommendations that support proposal development and timelines.
  • Design data collection strategies based on literature, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Assess project complexity and provide scientific input to solution design and service delivery planning.
  • Develop and deliver scientific content for capability presentations, bid defenses, and customer-facing meetings.
  • Partner with Sales during pre-sales engagements to communicate the scientific value of Clario solutions.
  • Support successful project handoff from Sales to Client Services with scientific context.
  • Contribute to training for Client Services on study design and scientific objectives.
  • Participate in post-sales customer meetings providing ongoing scientific consultation.
  • Support product development initiatives with scientific expertise and market insights.
  • Participate in conferences, webinars, publications, abstracts, and white papers to strengthen thought leadership.

The Scientific Advisor provides scientific expertise and consulting services to support Sales, Marketing, and Science Services delivery within a clinical trial technology organization. The role focuses on guiding the design and implementation of electronic data collection solutions by translating clinical, regulatory, and scientific requirements into effective study strategies.

Working cross-functionally, the Scientific Advisor reviews trial protocols, designs data collection approaches aligned with best practices, and contributes to proposals, bid defenses, and client presentations. The role supports clients throughout the study lifecycle, ensuring scientific rigor and alignment with their needs.

In addition, the Scientific Advisor contributes to product development, marketing initiatives, and thought leadership, while maintaining current knowledge of industry regulations and scientific advancements. Success in this role requires strong clinical trial expertise, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Review clinical trial protocols from prospective customers and provide scientific recommendations that support proposal development and customer timelines.
  • Design data collection strategies based on scientific literature, regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and patient/site considerations.
  • Assess project complexity and provide scientific input to solution design and service delivery planning.
  • Develop and deliver scientific content for capability presentations, bid defenses, and customer-facing meetings.
  • Partner with Sales teams during pre-sales engagements to communicate the scientific value of Clario, a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific solutions and services.
  • Support successful project handoff from Sales to Client Services by providing scientific context and proposal guidance.
  • Contribute to training and enablement activities for Client Services teams related to study design, scientific objectives, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in selected post-sales customer meetings and provide ongoing scientific consultation.
  • Support product development initiatives by contributing scientific expertise and market insights.
  • Participate in professional conferences, webinars, publications, abstracts, and white papers that strengthen thought leadership and market visibility.
  • Maintain current knowledge of clinical trial regulations, scientific advancements, industry trends, and emerging best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external scientific experts to support client deliverables and advance research initiatives.
  • Contribute to internal research programs and external scientific outreach efforts.
  • Travel approximately 20% as required
