Zusammenfassung

Infosys in Germany is seeking a Senior Tech Arch to lead end-to-end SAP MDG architecture across S/4HANA and related systems. You will drive fit-gap workshops, blueprinting, and design reviews, while guiding MDG data models, governance, and validation frameworks.

Responsibilities include coordinating MDG workstreams across SAP Activate phases, defining data models for BP, Customer, Vendor, Product, and Finance, and ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy.

Qualifikationen

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA (hub or co-deployed).
• Experience in at least 2+ full-cycle MDG or S/4 implementations.
• Deep knowledge of Data Models & Governance Framework, Process Modelling & Workflow, BRF+, BAdIs, FPM, UI Modelling, Data Replication Frameworks (SOA, IDoc, ALE).
• Experience designing MDG for Customer/Vendor BP, Material Master, FICO master data, etc.

• Coordinate across technical, functional, and business teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide thought leadership on MDG roadmap, data standards, and transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design of end-to-end SAP MDG architecture across S/4HANA and integrated systems by conducting fit-gap workshops, solution blueprinting, and design reviews
• Lead the MDG workstream across the SAP Activate phases: Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run
• Define MDG data models, governance processes, workflows, rules, and validation frameworks
• Architect MDG solutions for master data domains including Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Product/Material, Finance (FSP, CoA), and Custom Objects
• Recommend MDG best practices, reuse standard content, and define extensions as required
• Guide configuration of Data Models & UI Modelling (FPM), Process Models & Rule-Based Workflow, Data Replication (SOA, IDocs, ALE), BRF+ rules, derivations, validations, duplicate check, and search capabilities (HANA Search, TREX)
• Lead MDG consolidation, central governance, and mass processing designs
• Define integration architecture between MDG and S/4HANA (Hub or Co-deployed), ECC legacy systems, MDM, CRM, SRM, PLM, External non‑SAP systems, and collaborate with middleware teams (PI/PO, CPI) for replication frameworks
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data strategy, and security models
• Develop enterprise master data governance framework, policies, data standards, ownership models, stewardship processes, approval workflows, data quality rules, monitoring dashboards, and exception handling processes
• Oversee functional specs, test planning, UAT, cutover, migration validations, and hypercare
• Coordinate across technical, functional, and business teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Collaborate with business data owners, SMEs, and IT leadership on data governance decisions
• Provide thought leadership on MDG roadmap, data standards, and transformation strategy
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer for business stewards and functional teams
• Support data migration strategy, mapping, cleansing, and harmonization activities
• Validate load cycles, conversion rules, and data readiness reports
• Coordinate with ETL/migration teams to ensure seamless cutover

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA (hub or co-deployed)
• Experience in at least 2+ full-cycle MDG or S/4 implementations
• Deep knowledge of Data Models & Governance Framework, Process Modelling & Workflow, BRF+, BAdIs, FPM, UI Modelling, Data Replication Frameworks (SOA, IDoc, ALE), MDG Consolidation & Mass Processing
• Experience designing MDG for Customer/Vendor BP, Material Master, FICO master data, etc.
• Web Dynpro/FPM concepts, OData, APIs, Fiori
• Ability to guide ABAP developers on custom logic, enhancements, and WRICEF objects
• Experience working in Agile/Hybrid methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
• Ability to lead cross-functional workshops and drive consensus
• Professional certifications: S/4HANA or SAP MDG (Good to Have)
• Industry experience with complex master data environments such as Retail, Automotive, Manufacturing, CPG, Pharma, Utilities (Good to Have)
