Zusammenfassung

KWS Berlin GmbH is seeking a SAP Material & Production Master Data Expert to support standardized, high-quality master data across KWS Global Operations. You will bridge business and IT, help with S/4HANA migration, and improve processes and reporting for data-driven decisions.

The role is full-time, initially limited to 2 years, based in Berlin. You will collaborate across IT and production teams and drive data governance and master data guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Academic degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
• Strong expertise in Material and/or Production Master Data Management (SAP PP objects and MRP settings).
• Solid hands-on knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA master data and data flows.

• Manage projects and new processes requiring technical and process knowledge.
• Lead standardization of processes, automate tasks, and drive digital transformation.
• Provide technical guidance on tools, systems utilization, and reporting

KWS Berlin GmbH is looking for a Material & Production Master Data Expert (m/w/d) who will support standardized, high-quality master data management across KWS Global Business Operations (GBO). You act as a key interface between business and IT, contribute to digital transformation initiatives such as the S/4HANA migration, and continuously improve processes, systems, and reporting to enable transparency, efficiency, and data-driven decisions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage projects and new process implementations that require significant technical and process knowledge.
• Have the lead to standardized processes, automate tasks, and drive digital transformation.
• Provide technical expertise to support the definition of strategy, goals, and targets within the department.
• Support the team with technical skills and guidance on tools, systems utilization.
• Ensure the availability of proper reporting tools and systems for effective data analysis and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains through the adoption of innovative technologies and digital solutions.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance reporting capabilities to enable better visibility and insights into operational performance.
• Facilitate cross functional alignment and collaboration on IT solutions and processes.
• Create transparency to stakeholders on department systems and technical developments in the company.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
• Support the creation of Master Data guidelines as well as its documentation, analysis and optimization.
• Support the definition, implementation, and enhancement of roles and authorizations of related systems.

Your Profile:

• Academic degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain or any other related field;
• Strong expertise inMaterial and/or Production Master Data Management(SAP PP processes and related production master data objects and MRP-relevant settings);
• Solid hands‑on knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA master data, including integrations, interfaces, and data flows in complex landscapes;
• Ability to analyze, structure, and visualize data and process flows effectively;
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on digitalization and automation opportunities;
• High level of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in complex environments;
• Relevant experience in Treatments, Varieties, Work Versions, Configurable Materials, Work Centers, and Routings;
• Experience in methodology ofproject management;
• Fluent in English. German or another European language is an advantage;
• Experience in agriculture, production, manufacturing, or supply‑chain‑driven environments is a strong advantage.
