Zusammenfassung

BIRKENSTOCK is seeking a Senior SAP FI/CO Inhouse Consultant to optimize and support SAP FI/CO processes. The ideal candidate will bridge IT and business, working closely with stakeholders on requirements and solutions.

Your Shoes To Fill

• As a Senior SAP FI/CO Inhouse Consultant, you will:
• Play a key contact for all Finance and Controlling applications.
• You will be responsible for optimizing, supporting, and further developing SAP FI/CO processes, as well as designing interfaces to external applications.
• Advising and supporting SAP processes and business departments in the FI and CO modules.
• Acting as a bridge between IT and business: gathering, analyzing, designing, and implementing requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.
• Performing 2nd level analysis and resolution of internal SAP FI/CO-related issues.
• Gathering and analyzing business requirements in Accounting and Controlling within a national and international omnichannel retail environment.
• Creating functional and technical solution concepts for efficient end-to‑end processes and interfaces, including test management.
• Performing SAP FI/CO customizing and configuration.
• Actively contributing to the upcoming SAP S/4HANA transformation.

Your Walk Of Life

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification with SAP experience.
• Several years of professional experience in SAP FI/CO consulting, ideally in a retail or corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of financial and controlling processes. Experience in designing SAP solutions and collaborating with SAP developers.
• Confident in internal consulting and designing complex solutions.
• Ideally able to read, analyze, and assess ABAP code (active coding not required). Team‑oriented, open to new ideas and approaches.
• Initial experience or exposure to SAP S/4HANA (e.g., pre‑projects or migrations) is a plus. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Hands‑on mentality with a reliable and assertive approach.
• Passionate about delivering high‑quality, sustainable solutions.
