PRIMA Partners Global is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong SAP Retail expertise to join our expanding SAP consultancy. You will work closely with clients to understand financial requirements, design SAP solutions, and support the implementation and optimisation of SAP Finance processes within complex Retail environments.

The role combines hands-on SAP FICO consulting, business analysis, solution design and stakeholder management, with an emphasis on delivering end-to-end SAP

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of professional experience in SAP FICO consulting.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling processes (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, PA).
• Hands-on config and Customising in SAP FI/CO.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA in implementations, migrations or transformations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.

• 3+ years of professional experience working as an SAP FICO Consultant, ideally within a consulting, implementation or systems integration environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting and Profitability Analysis.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO configuration and Customising.
• Strong understanding of the integration between SAP Retail and SAP FICO.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, ideally within implementation, transformation or migration projects.
• Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to wider project teams.
• Strong communication, consulting and stakeholder management skills.
• Very good written and spoken German and English.
• Experience working on full lifecycle SAP implementations, rollouts and transformation projects.
• Knowledge of retail processes including merchandise management, purchasing, sales, inventory and store operations.
• Strong integration knowledge between SAP FICO and modules such as SD, MM, EWM and Retail.
• Experience with SAP Finance interfaces and integrations with third-party systems.
• Previous experience working for an SAP consultancy or systems integrator.
• Experience taking ownership of an SAP FICO workstream or specific project area.
• Experience with international or multi-country SAP projects.
• SAP certification would be advantageous.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong SAP Retail experience to join a growing SAP consultancy and work on a range of challenging client projects.

You will work closely with clients to understand their financial and business requirements, design SAP solutions and support the implementation and optimisation of SAP Finance processes within complex SAP Retail environments.

The role will combine hands-on SAP FICO consulting, business analysis, solution design, Customising and client-facing stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to understand business and finance requirements.
• Analyse existing financial and retail processes and identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Design and implement SAP FICO solutions within SAP Retail environments.
• Perform SAP FI/CO configuration and Customising.
• Support SAP S/4HANA Retail transformation, implementation and rollout projects.
• Ensure effective integration between SAP Finance, Retail and other relevant SAP modules.
• Support testing activities, including test preparation, execution and defect resolution.
• Provide guidance and support to Key Users and business stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications and work closely with developers where technical enhancements are required.
• Support go-live preparation, cutover and post-go-live activities.
• Provide expert SAP FICO advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to project documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and act as a trusted SAP Finance and Retail advisor.
