Fusion Consulting in Mainz, Germany, seeks an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions that optimize warehouse and logistics operations for life sciences clients.

You will lead end-to-end implementation projects, gather and analyze warehouse requirements, map them to inbound/outbound processes, and drive successful UAT, data migration, and cutover activities while coordinating with MM, SD, and TM integrations.

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and innovative SAP EWM Consultant to join our dynamic consulting team in Europe. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing, configuring, and implementing cutting-edge SAP EWM solutions that optimize warehouse and logistics operations for our valued clients. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver transformative solutions that drive operational excellence and support business growth.

• Partner closely with clients to gather, analyze, and understand their warehouse and logistics requirements, ensuring solutions align with their strategic objectives
• Design and configure comprehensive SAP EWM functionalities, including inbound and outbound processes, warehouse structure, inventory management, RF framework, and labor management
• Develop detailed functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and system integrations while maintaining transparency with stakeholders
• Lead end-to-end implementation projects with meticulous attention to detail, overseeing testing phases, data migration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure seamless deployment
• Provide expert guidance on integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules (MM, SD, TM) and third-party systems, leveraging your analytical skills to solve complex integration challenges
• Conduct engaging workshops and comprehensive user training sessions, delivering knowledge transfer that empowers clients to successfully adopt and optimize SAP EWM processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP EWM processes and configurations with efficiency and decisiveness, providing timely support to minimize operational disruption
• Stay current with SAP innovations and industry best practices, proactively recommending solutions that enhance warehouse and logistics management capabilities
• Document processes, configurations, and solutions thoroughly to support organizational learning and future project success
• Collaborate with project teams in a supportive and inclusive environment, fostering innovation and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience as an SAP EWM Consultant with a minimum of 2 full-cycle implementations demonstrating expertise in SAP ECC or S/4HANA EWM functionalities
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse and logistics processes, including inbound, outbound, storage, and inventory management operations
• Strong technical proficiency with SAP EWM functionalities such as RF framework, warehouse structure configuration, and labor management
• Solid understanding of integration points between SAP EWM and other modules including Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Transportation Management (TM)
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, change management, and user acceptance testing (UAT) methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams across diverse environments
• Proficiency in technical documentation and the ability to create clear, comprehensive specifications and training materials
• Experience conducting training sessions and facilitating knowledge transfer to ensure successful user adoption
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective resolutions in a timely manner
• SAP certification in EWM or S/4HANA (preferred)
• Familiarity with German business practices and processes is a plus
