Zusammenfassung

X4 Technology is seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant (Techno-Functional) for a 3-year contract in North Rhine-Westphalia. You will lead end-to-end EWM configuration, covering warehouse structure, storage types, bins, and activity areas.

Responsibilities include inbound/outbound processing, RF framework, physical inventory, and ABAP-informed debugging. Onsite in NRW Tue–Thu with two remote days and travel costs covered.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in end-to-end EWM configuration in SAP environments.
• Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound processing and warehousing concepts.
• Ability to read and debug ABAP, work with BAdIs and enhancements.
• Experience with SIT/UAT and coordinating with developers for testing.
• Willingness to travel within North Rhine-Westphalia for onsite work (Tue–Thu).

Aufgaben

• Configure and optimize EWM warehouse structure, storage types, bins and activity areas.
• Implement inbound/outbound processes, putaway strategies, wave and delivery management.
• Manage tasks, resources, RF framework and PPF to support supply chain operations.
• Perform physical inventory, replenishment, slotting and rearrangement activities.
• Draft functional specs and coordinate SIT/UAT with development teams.

SAP EWM Consultant (Techno-Functional) - North Rhine-Westphalia

I'm working with a German SAP consultancy looking for an experienced EWM consultant to join the team on a 3 year contract.

Core skills:

• End-to-end EWM configuration - warehouse structure, storage types and bins, activity areas, storage control
• Inbound and outbound processing: goods receipt, putaway strategies, picking, packing, wave and delivery management
• Task and resource management, RF framework / ITSmobile, PPF
• Physical inventory, replenishment, slotting and rearrangement
• Enough ABAP to read and debug code, and to work with BAdIs, enhancements and user exits
• Writing functional specs and briefing developers, then testing what comes back (SIT/UAT)
• Onsite in North Rhine-Westphalia region Tuesday – Thursday, 2 days remote (travel costs covered)

Valuable:

• S/4HANA embedded EWM, or migration experience from decentralised EWM / WM
• MFS or interfaces to automation and conveyor systems
• Fiori apps and analytics within the EWM stack
• Retail-specific volumes: high throughput, seasonal peaks, store replenishment
