Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years SAP ABAP with ABAP OO, BAdI, and dialog programming.
• Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum.

• Ability to document implementation designs using UML.
• Hands-on experience with SAP interfacing technologies (RFCs, REST/OData, Web Services, BAPI’s).
• Experience with SAP Workflow development and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SAP deployment tools (TMS, Solution Manager ChaRM, Focused Build).
• Expertise in Native HANA development and ABAP CDS/DCL objects.

Position Overview

We are looking for a self‑motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer who wants to make an impact in cybersecurity by advancing, maintaining, and enhancing platform features for application security testing of SAP applications, including review of third‑party custom code and transports, and automatic remediation for common code errors.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with leadership, product management, and the research team to evaluate, scope, propose, and build features that protect customers.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity researchers, engineers, and product managers to iterate on product definition and implementation.
• Partner with the Architecture team to mature the platform’s technology and architecture design.
• Advance quality engineering processes to deliver high‑quality products and services.
• Work closely with security and IT professionals to ensure safe and secure system architectures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years SAP ABAP experience with in‑depth knowledge of ABAP‑OO and new ABAP language constructs, BAdI, Enhancements, and dialog programming.
• Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Self‑motivated team player.
• Ability to document implementation designs using standard tools (e.g., UML).
• Hands‑on experience with SAP interfacing technologies (RFCs, REST/OData, Web Services, BAPI’s) – plus.
• Experience with SAP Workflow development and troubleshooting – plus.
• Experience with SAP specific deployment tools (TMS, Solution Manager ChaRM, Focused Build, or other third‑party tools) – plus.
• Expertise in Native HANA development and ABAP CDS/DCL objects – plus.
