Amazon MGM Studios seeks a Sales Manager, Theatrical Distribution for Germany to execute sales and distribution strategies for all theatrical releases. The position manages a portfolio of key German exhibitor accounts, handling bookings, negotiations and ongoing account management, as well as managing Operations. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the role translates sales strategy into effective release execution - driving screen count, session placement and market coverage to maximize box office performance for each title on the Amazon MGM Studios slate.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of German Key exhibitors and being responsible for executing Sales strategies across dedicated distribution areas
• Develop and maintain strong exhibitor relationships to drive release performance
• Assist with weekly session planning and negotiations with exhibitors to secure optimal terms, holdovers, and maximize screen count across territories
• Process and manage exhibitor bookings, holdovers, and maintain accurate records of sales terms and payments in coordination with Finance team.
• Manage the planning, production, classification and delivery of industry communications, sales materials, trailers and promotional assets across Germany
• Managing festival and open -air distribution activity for the slate, coordinating submissions, premieres, preview activities and develop and maintain curator/programmer relationships
• Support the implementation, testing, training and setup of the Sales and Booking system
• Coordinate operations and technical delivery standards (different language versions, different technical versions, PLFs) across exhibition partners
• Coordinate KDM (Key Delivery Message) operations and manage relationships with preferred Content Delivery Service providers
• Manage daily box office reporting for Amazon MGM bookings in internal tracking systems
• Undertake comprehensive box office performance analysis across all theatrical releases, tracking opening weekend and lifetime forecasts.
• Develop and maintain box office, admissions and revenue forecasts for the theatrical marketplaceAssist in creating revenue forecasts and territory strategies for all titles
• Prepare detailed film performance and industry analysis reports
• Conduct competitive analysis and release date viability assessments to ensure optimal market positioning for Amazon MGM titles

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of BI analytics, reporting or visualization tools like Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Cognos or other third-party tools
• Experience in English and German writing and editing with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style
• Extensive experience in theatrical distribution, sales, or administrative positions in the entertainment industry
• Demonstrated ability to maintain exhibitor relationships and negotiate effectively
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in strategic planning
• Deep knowledge of the German theatrical exhibition market dynamics and trends
• Familiarity with film industry economics, revenue models, and box office analytics
