DeepL is seeking a results-driven leader to head the Enterprise Sales team in Germany. You will guide the strategic vision, recruit and nurture top AEs, and drive scalable processes that fuel long-term revenue growth.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to strengthen DeepL's market position and deliver exceptional customer value in a fast-moving, international environment.

How you will contribute to DeepL's success

• Lead, inspire, and set the strategic vision for the Enterprise Sales team in Germany and contribute to the broader DeepL sales organisation
• Build and grow a high-performing team through thoughtful hiring, structured onboarding, ongoing coaching, and professional development of Account Executives
• Be the driving force behind scaling the team and the business — creating the processes, playbooks, and culture that enable sustainable, long-term growth
• Own your team's performance targets and cultivate an environment where every AE can do their best work
• Collaborate closely with Sales Development, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to align priorities and maximize collective impact
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of DeepL's product and competitive landscape to support your team with confidence
• Build, track, and analyse sales pipelines and buying trends, using insights to continuously improve how we work
• Report predictably and accurately to senior leadership on progress and challenges, including regular forecasting
• Establish scalable policies and processes that set the team — and DeepL's Enterprise revenue — up for success
• Roll up your sleeves when it matters: you lead by example and show up for your team and customers

What we are looking for

• Proven experience managing and developing Enterprise Account Executive teams, with a genuine passion for helping people grow
• 5+ years in sales, ideally within a scale-up B2B SaaS environment where you've helped shape the journey from early-stage to structured growth
• Currently or recently leading a team of at least 8 Enterprise AEs in a B2B SaaS context
• Strong grasp of SaaS business models, collaboration technology, and enterprise buying cycles
• A track record of achieving both personal and team goals — and of building the conditions that make those results repeatable
• Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and communication skills — you know how to unlock potential in others
• Comfort with ambiguity and a talent for bringing clarity and structure to fast-moving situations
• A genuine enthusiasm for customer relationships and for building something together
• Fluency in German and English, with the ability to negotiate in both
