Zusammenfassung

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Systems Engineer to translate customer needs into clear system specifications and drive a technical roadmap. You will own backlog, guide UI development with Qt/QML, and manage risks to ensure on-time delivery. The role requires a CS or Aerospace degree and experience in aerospace system engineering.

The position offers flexible hours and partial home office, with collaboration across engineering and supplier teams to deliver complex simulation projects.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in Computer Science or Aerospace.
• Professional experience in Engineering, Aerospace and system engineering lifecycle of simulation projects.
• Familiar with software technologies (C++, Qt/QML) and modern development methodologies.

• Capture and translate customer needs into clear system specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Shape the technical roadmap with system and software engineers by defining tasks, milestones, and priorities.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing new features, technical improvements, and customer feedback.
• Drive the development of user-centric, high-performance Qt/QML UIs while ensuring usability, quality, and architectural integrity.
• Manage risks, stakeholders, suppliers, and project progress to ensure on-time delivery within budget and scope.
