Horizon3 is hiring a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to own the end-to-end commission process across global programs. You will administer plans in Everstage, perform calculations, validate payments, and partner with Revenue Operations, Finance, and HR to ensure accuracy and scalability.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of sales compensation or commission operations experience, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth technology company.
• Experience administering commission systems (Everstage preferred, or Xactly, Anaplan, SPIFF, or CaptivateIQ).
• Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced SaaS/tech environment preferred.

• Administer sales compensation plans in Everstage, including participant setup, quota assignments, plan administration, and commission calculations.
• Calculate, validate, and reconcile monthly commission payments for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for commission questions and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Maintain commission documentation, policies, and plan summaries.
• Support monthly commission accounting activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Assist with audit requests by preparing supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve commission processes, reporting, and system efficiency.
• Support UAT and implementation of plan changes, system enhancements, and new programs.
• Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance to optimize variable compensation and SPIFF programs.

What You’ll Do

The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst reports to the Commissions Manager and supports the administration of our global sales compensation programs. This role is responsible for the end-to-end commission process, including plan administration, commission calculations, reporting, commission accounting support, and sales compensation support. Working closely with Revenue Operations, Finance, Sales, and HR, this role helps ensure commission payments are accurate, scalable, and delivered on time.

• Manage the end-to-end sales compensation process from participant setup through monthly commission payouts.


• Administer sales compensation plans in Everstage, including participant setup, quota assignments, plan administration, and commission calculations.


• Calculate, validate, and reconcile monthly commission payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with plan policies.


• Serve as the primary contact for commission questions and resolve commission inquiries in a timely manner.


• Maintain commission documentation, policies, and plan summaries.


• Support monthly commission accounting activities, including accruals, reconciliations, deferred commission schedules, and fluctuation analysis.


• Assist with quarterly and annual audit requests by preparing supporting documentation.


• Identify opportunities to improve commission processes, reporting, and system efficiency.


• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation of commission plan changes, system enhancements, and new compensation programs.


• Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance to operationalize and optimize variable compensation plans and SPIFF programs.


• Support sales leadership with compensation-related questions and operational requests.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.


• 3+ years of sales compensation or commission operations experience, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth technology company.

In accordance with various State’s transparency regulations, we provide the following salary range information for this position:

• Base salary range: $115,000 - $140,000 annually. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.


• Additional compensation: All full-time roles are eligible for an equity package in the form of stock options.
