Black & White Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Frankfurt-based site team as a Resident Engineer, delivering mission-critical facilities on complex projects.

You will be the on-site mechanical expert, overseeing HVAC and cooling infrastructure installations, supervising commissioning, resolving technical challenges and coordinating with contractors, consultants and clients throughout the construction lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• Degree, diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience as Resident Engineer, Site Engineer, Clerk of Works or similar construction delivery role.
• Experience within data centres, mission-critical environments or highly regulated settings.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems including HVAC and cooling infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English; German language skills are advantageous.

• Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience working as a Resident Engineer, Site Engineer, Clerk of Works, Site Representative or similar construction delivery role.
• Experience within Data Centres, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Industrial or highly regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems including HVAC, chilled water, cooling infrastructure and associated plant.
• Experience monitoring installations, reviewing technical submittals, managing site issues and supporting commissioning activities.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, health & safety and construction best practice.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English required; German language skills would be advantageous.
