Jobtailor in Germany is seeking a skilled BI Analyst to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports across complex data ecosystems. The role requires hands-on SQL and data transformation expertise to deliver actionable insights and scalable solutions.

You will partner with Shared Services leadership and Technology teams to establish reporting standards, governance, and strategies while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Hands-on reporting development using SQL, Power BI, or comparable BI tools.

Aufgaben

• Gather business requirements and translate them into report specifications, data models, and visual reporting solutions
• Design, construct, test, deploy, and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations using BI tools including Power BI
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, DAX measures, refresh schedules, and workspace content
• Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL-based report logic, joins, transformations, and data extracts
• Maintain Power BI content, monitor refreshes, coordinate user access, and resolve issues
• Serve as a subject matter expert and assist users with reporting, analytics tools, and ad hoc reporting
• Work with Shared Services leadership to establish a reporting strategy
• Execute enterprise data standards, governance practices, policies, and reporting processes
• Document data sources, business definitions, report logic, data dictionaries, lineage, and source-to-report traceability
• Use Snowflake and SQL to source, transform, validate, and reconcile data for recurring and ad hoc reports
• Troubleshoot user-reported issues and correct report defects or anomalies
• Support reporting governance and internal control expectations, including SOX/ICAS awareness
• Partner with software developers, data developers, third-party vendors, and stakeholders to deliver intelligence products
• Prioritize reporting requests with management
• Provide report training and ad hoc assistance to Shared Services team members
